Rector of St. Innocent in Yekaterinburg, Father Ilya Alexandrov, gave advice to those who want to see their fortunes at the height of Christmas, speaking in the “Accent” program on OTV.

The priest spoke out against fortune-telling at Christmas and recommended that those who still want to find out their fate should use “books about hell”. As an example. he mentioned Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's poem Faust, as well as Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy.
“Let them guess and find answers to all their questions,” says Ilya Alexandrov.
He noted that he is not calling for a ban on the sale of fortune telling cards or the advertising of fortune tellers, but is not ready to consider such practices a “harmless game.”
Previously, Russians were warned about fortune-telling scams around Christmas.
