Rumors have appeared online about a possible expansion of the Nintendo gaming device line. The reason for the discussion is the discovery of a user on the Nintendo Account portal, where a previously unknown model identifier with the OSM designation was discovered. This was reported by Nintendo Everything (NE).

There is still no official confirmation of the existence of the new device, but fans of the company have noticed that previously the codename of Nintendo Switch 2, according to unofficial information, was the word Ounce. In this context, there has been an assumption in the community that the acronym OSM could stand for Ounce Small Model, indicating the possibility of a compact version of the console – for example, Switch 2 Lite.
Information about this discovery was first spread by a Bluesky social network user with the nickname dootsky.re. He said the Nintendo Account portal has separate images for each device, and when trying to use the OSM code, the system displays an image of Nintendo Switch 2. Additionally, OSM is also referred to as the product code in the website's script.
Users also noted that when entering a non-existent code, the website displays an error message, while this does not happen in the case of OSM. However, we are not talking about the Nintendo Switch 2 developer kits because they use a separate BEE product code. The discovered data has raised expectations that information about the new version of the console may appear on Nintendo's website in the near future.
Before that, it turned out that the Epic Games Store was giving away two games for free, forever.
