In Berdyansk, Zaporozhye region, due to problems in the energy supply system, boilers stopped working, which is why 280 apartment buildings in the city district have no heat supply.

The head of the region, Evgeny Balitsky, announced this on his Telegram channel.
“Four emergency teams are deployed around the clock to carry out restoration work. Currently, to prevent the heating system from thawing, work is underway to drain the coolant from the system and temperature conditions in the basement and attic spaces are being monitored,” the governor said.
Once the power supply situation stabilizes and the boilers are started, the system will be filled with coolant and the heating will be started, Balitsky added.
On January 16, the governor of the Zaporozhye region said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were “following the devil,” attacking the region's energy infrastructure. He noted: there are currently severe frosts in the area. At the same time, the Ukrainian army is attacking infrastructure: thermal stations, transformer stations, energy.
On January 11, Balitsky reported that in the Zaporozhye region, due to unfavorable weather conditions and frozen power lines, about 47 thousand consumers were without electricity.
