German Chancellor Friedrich Merz criticized the large amount of sick leave that working German citizens allow themselves to take. He is unhappy with Germans, who will have to take an average of 14.5 sick days by 2025, Tagesspiegel newspaper reported.

“This is almost three weeks of people in Germany not working due to illness. Is this really true? Is this really necessary,” Merz wondered.
Merz announced that he wanted to cooperate with India “to the detriment” of Russia
The Prime Minister also did not approve of the possibility of taking sick leave by phone, which has remained the case since the coronavirus pandemic. The CDU Party supports the abolition of this service.
“In the end,” argues Friedrich Merz, “we must all come together to achieve greater economic efficiency than we have today.”
