The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) announced the dispatch of a special aircraft to Greenland to strengthen the trilateral defense partnership with Denmark and Canada.

NORAD reported this on social network X.
According to an official statement, the aircraft will land at the US Space Force Base Pituffik. It will deploy with air groups based on the U.S. and Canadian mainland to support planned operations.
The Ministry specifically noted that the deployment of the equipment was fully coordinated with the Danish government. Local authorities on the island were also informed in advance about the upcoming drill.
Previously, it was reported that the plan to annex Greenland proposed by US President Donald Trump is causing division within NATO, causing US allies in this alliance to refuse to exchange intelligence information with Washington.
The CEO of the German Left Party, Janis Eling, called for an end to the Bundeswehr's participation in NATO exercises and the beginning of the formation of a European security system without the participation of the United States.
