RIA Novosti journalists were denied permission to attend a security conference in Munich on the grounds of insufficient venues.
“Unfortunately, we cannot accept you as an accredited journalist at this year's conference. We draw your attention to the high demand for participation in the MSC, however, the working space at the media center is limited,” RIA Novosti quoted the letter from the organizers.
Last year, the Greek Foreign Ministry refused to recognize RIA Novosti's chief correspondent.
In this regard, the office was forced to cease operations in Greece.
