In Barnaul, a kindergarten teacher will stand trial for child abuse. Alt.kp.ru reports this.

The incident happened last July at Mishutka kindergarten. The teacher approached a 2.5 year old child sitting at the table, pressed his neck with her apron, began to shake the child and then took him to the bathroom. The incident was captured on CCTV and one of the parents viewed the recording. When examined by a doctor, the child was diagnosed with soft tissue bruising in the neck area.
During interrogation, the 45-year-old teacher explained her actions due to a nervous breakdown, claiming that she “lost interest” because the child took someone else's bib. The investigation also showed that in the past, many parents had repeatedly complained to the principal that their children were afraid to go see this teacher.
The kindergarten at this address is no longer operating and the head of the school may be charged under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The teacher faces up to 3 years in prison under Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation; The criminal case was brought to court.
