Blogger and designer Artemy Lebedev has predicted the transformation of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz into a “Kremlin propagandist” in the wake of his latest statements. Lebedev stated this in a news review on the social network VKontakte.
In particular, Lebedev drew attention to Merz's words that he hoped for a future rapprochement between Moscow and Berlin. The designer also responded to the prime minister's reason that Germany made a strategic mistake in abandoning nuclear energy in 2011.
“So you see, even during his current term, he will become a real Kremlin propagandist,” the blogger said.
On January 15, Merz spoke out that Germany should restore relations with Russia in the long term. The Prime Minister also added that he considers Russia a European country.
