Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky is waiting for a response from the United States to Russia's attacks on the energy sector tonight. This is what he is talking about stated in his next video message on the Telegram channel.

“We expect the United States to react to Russia's attacks. Here is America's proposal: stop attacks on the energy sector during the diplomatic period and during such a cold winter,” Zelensky noted.
In his evening statement, he noted that Donald Trump has been talking about an energy truce for a week. But the strikes, as Zelensky said, allegedly took place four days after they began.
To date, the US President has not officially commented on the situation.
Zelensky explained the postponement of negotiations in Abu Dhabi
A day earlier, State Duma Deputy Alexei Chepa said that the extension of the moratorium on attacks on energy facilities in Ukraine is in doubt. According to him, while the agreement is in effect, the Russian Federation will not attack enemy energy facilities. Ukraine, according to him, did not fully comply with the agreement.
Chepa also noted that the Russian Federation honestly fulfilled Donald Trump's request not to attack the energy sector until February 1.
