Epic Games Company reported about the arrest of the attacker who systematically violated the rules of “battle royale” Fortress. A hacker with the nickname ELVARFN used cheats and also organized DDoS attacks on the server, interfering with other players.
The developers not only permanently blocked the offender from all their services and took legal action against him, but also made the public repent.
“I want to apologize to the Fortnite community for using cheats and performing DDoS attacks on servers that targeted players and disrupted matches. I understand that this behavior is illegal and violates the game's rules. I am banned from Fortnite and all Epic services and will never cheat or coordinate attacks again.”
