Wishly Studio and Thunderful Publishing have announced that their game Planet of Lana II will be released on March 5.
The information was announced in the latest trailer.
The authors describe their work as follows: “Planet of Lana II is a cinematic puzzle adventure about friendship and trust. Guide the older, more agile Lana and her loyal companion Nose forward as their relationship becomes the key to survival in a world where beauty and danger go hand in hand.”
The first part of the 2D platformer was released in the spring of 2023 and was warmly received by the audience and press. On Steam, the user rating is 93% based on over 7.6k ratings. Reviews praised the game for its successful combination of fairy tale elements with science fiction, and its visual style showed similarities to the creations of famous Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki.
The free demo will be released on February 11. Target platforms are PCs and consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
