Dark Detective: Fumbling in the dark

Epic Games Store is giving away the first part of The Darkside Detective: a humorous point-and-click adventure about a paranormal detective who must unravel strange cases. Players will find six investigations taking place in a variety of locations, from carnivals to amateur wrestling arenas. The game can be downloaded for free until February 19.

You can try out the demo of MIGHTREYA on Steam: a superhero action anime inspired by anime like My Hero Academia and Shy. The young superheroine Rhea and her handler protect the city every day from monsters from another dimension, and also film the battles on video to attract more subscribers to their blog.

Starship Troopers: The Final Bug War!

The authors of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun have published a demo version of their next project on Steam – an explosive shooter based on the cult satire Starship Troopers. In the demo, the player, as an amphibious recruit, will have to clear a sunny resort of bugs, using familiar weapons and gadgets from the original film. Furthermore, the commanding role will be played by Casper Van Dien, the actor who played the main role in the original.

CALL HOME

Ultimately, HOUSE CALL is a little horror adventure inspired by Flash-era horror stories. The main character receives a phone call and the voice on the other end pleads for help – something has entered their house. And in the 20-30 minutes it takes to complete the game, players will have to find out a terrible secret.
