At St. Petersburg, a court detained for two months a man who attacked a policeman with a katana. This was reported by the general press service of the court of St. Petersburg reported in the year telegram.

According to investigators, on February 12, at an apartment on Okulovskaya Street, a drunk Russian, disagreeing with the detention of his acquaintance for robbery, stabbed one of the law enforcement officers in the hand with a katana. As a result, the police officer was diagnosed with injuries to muscles, joints and tendons as well as cuts to his hands.
In court, the defendant refused to testify about the incident but did not object to detention until April 11.
Earlier in the Omsk region, a court arrested a man who beat his wife and attacked a policeman. It is known that the Russian man got into a fight out of jealousy and began to beat her, threatening her with violence. When the authorities arrived at the scene, the defendant used a stick to hit him.
