Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived in Washington to attend the first meeting of the Peace Council, established at the initiative of US President Donald Trump. This was reported by politician Nazeli Baghdasaryan's press secretary on Facebook* (a social network banned in Russia; owned by the Meta group, considered extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

“Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived in the United States on a working visit. On February 19 in Washington, the Prime Minister will participate in the first meeting of the Peace Council,” she wrote.
Previously, it became known that President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also participate in the first meeting of the Peace Council.
The Peace Council was established at the end of January 2026. Notably, its charter was signed by four leaders of post-Soviet countries.
