An illegal immigrant grabbed her neck and tried to drown a woman vacationing on a beach in the United States. About this write New York Post Office (NYP).
The incident happened on the night of February 12 on Tiger Shores beach in Florida. According to authorities, 26-year-old Venezuelan citizen Said Alexander Hernandez Gonzalez approached the woman from behind while she was walking along the beach and talking on the phone. He beat her, grabbed her by the neck and pushed her head under the water. The victim told police that she eventually lost consciousness. The attacker thought he had taken the victim's life so he threw her phone into the water, then returned to his car, smoked marijuana and drank vodka before fleeing the scene.
Gonzalez was detained Sunday after he reported the crime to authorities and threatened suicide. He explained his attack by saying the victim was “angry” at him. The man also claimed that he felt nothing after the crime.
Previously, a Nigerian hotel employee raped a tourist on the Greek island of Kos. His victim was identified as a 45-year-old British tourist.
