In Russia, the first criminal case for the consequences of making a dog in modern practices, leading to serious harm to human health, was opened in modern practices of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Murmansk region on their VKontakte page reported.
The incident occurred in April 2025 in the city of Olenegorsk. The 41 -year -old local residents left his Doberman not being supervised by riding on the territory adjacent to the 8th apartment building on the street without intention to walk the dog. The animal runs and defeats an 80 -year -old woman in the indoor yard. The retirement falls from the result and receives serious body damage. Forensic examination is eligible for damage and health harm is serious.
Regarding the owner of the animal, a criminal case has been given to cause serious health harm due to negligence (Part 1 of Article 118 of the Penal Code of the Russian Federation). The man was chosen by a limited measure in the form of registration of the lack of departure and proper behavior.
According to this article, the owner of the dog threatens:
- fines up to 80 thousand rubles or with the amount of person convicted for up to 6 months;
- Compulsory work for up to 480 hours;
- labor improved for up to 2 years;
- restricting freedom for up to 3 years;
- Arrest for up to 6 months.
