The scammers have made a new plan to access the Russian “public service” under the excuse to update information about education on the portal. It was reported by RIA Novosti.
According to this agency, the attacker called the victim and, introduced himself as an employee of the university, requesting the accused to enter information about education on the information portal. To do this, the crooks requested to name the code from the notice to enter the “State Service” website.
After the victim called Ma, the attacker had access to the victim's personal account. At the same time, “state services” in a message with a warning code that only scammers ask him to name him.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Home Affairs said that Doxing – a collection of illegal personal data for blackmail – is one of the most popular cyberspace patients in the world. The Ministry said that thousands of Internet users face this type of fraud every day.
