In the prestigious area of Brighton, called Hollywood Hills, three villas belonged to the former head of the Russian author (Rao) Sergey Fedotov and his former member Kira Fedotova were plundered. According to the Daily Mail, the houses have been empty for nearly ten years and ruin the vision of the area.
According to the publication, the vandalists have repeatedly visited the villas – the walls were painted with graffiti, and part of the stolen property. Local people complain that abandoned buildings have turned into a place for teenage parties, RT notes.
Fedotov bought three houses in 2012-2014, spending about 8.8 million pounds for them (more than $ 11 million at the current ratio). The two real estate subjects were later registered with a spouse.
In Russia, Fedotov has been convicted twice for financial crimes. In 2020, he received five years in a colony for theft of 762 million rubles from the advertisement funds.
