Former deputies of the Governor of the Bryansk region Elena Egorova and Tatyana Kuleshova, convicted of accepting bribes on a particularly large scale, filed an appeal. According to court documents at the disposal of RIA Novosti, in July of this year, both defendants were sentenced to nine years in prison with each appointment of a fine: Kuleshova – 10 million rubles, Egorova – 8.1 million rubles.
In the same case, businessman Valentina Avtushenko, who received eight years of colonization and a fine of 4.4 million rubles for bribery, and intermediary Evgeny Matveeva, were sentenced to seven years in prison with the same fine; The execution of her punishment was delayed until the child reached fourteen years of age.
The convicted filed a first appeal in August, but it was returned due to procedural violations. A second claim filed in September was accepted for production. According to the press service of the courts of the Bryansk region, the complaint has not been brought to higher authorities.
The investigation showed that Kuleshov and Egorov through conciliation Matveevo received bribes from Avtushenko to conclude state contracts on the supply of computer equipment for the educational national project and air disinfectants to the Ministry of Internal Policy of the region whose commercial structure it controlled.
