The first big price cut for Borderlands 4 has arrived on consoles. On PC, the shooter started selling for 20% cheaper a few days ago, and now the same offer has started rolling out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. You need to pick up the new September product at a discounted price before October 22 (on PC on Steam and Epic Games Store the promotion ends October 20).

It's worth noting that the discount applies to all versions of Borderlands 4. There is only one exception – on PlayStation 5, the Deluxe Edition is not discounted for unknown reasons. This is not surprising since the largest amount of future content is contained in the maximum Super Deluxe version.
Borderlands 4 was released on September 11, so getting a big discount so early could indicate there may be a sales problem. And shooters can really turn off audiences due to various issues, including poor performance. And currently, the community is also actively discussing a build that will allow you to become a real killing machine with just a knife.
Players are not satisfied with it – with such a build, there is no point in looking for loot and testing various equipment. The developers have confirmed that they will be making some adjustments to the knife's balance, with the aim of increasing the effective number of builds. I wonder how Gearbox Software's actions will correlate with its promise not to nerf strong builds but to improve weak ones.
