Player Team spirit via Counterattack 2 Danil donk Kryshkovets shares his opinion comparing snipers Dmitry sh1ro Sokolov and Ilya m0NESY Osipov. He expressed his views in an interview for the YouTube channel “VPISKA”, noting that it is not right to oppose these players.
According to donk, comparisons between the two stars of the CIS scene are often superficial and do not take into account the context of their roles and gaming duties:
They are so different that they cannot be compared. Statistically, m0NESY is probably better. Can I say that m0NESY is stronger than sh1ro? No, probably not. Diman, to my knowledge, is extremely good at CS:GO. I think he has the potential to be the best sniper in the world, he just needs to realize it.
Donk also emphasized that Team Spirit's current game model does not allow for sh1ro to take on the dominant sniper form familiar to fans:
Obviously with the concept of a team where I'm the main star, obviously not. He's a support sniper whose job is to throw grenades at you, cutting off the area and ending the round. Killing people is not his duty, that duty is mine.
