TEHRAN, October 20. . The Iranian government is willing to consider new cooperation options with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), if the agency makes such a proposal. This was stated by Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Secretary Ali Larijani.

On September 9, Iran and the IAEA signed an agreement in Egypt to resume cooperation, which was suspended after the June attacks by Israel and the United States, as the organization's failure to condemn countries carrying out attacks on nuclear facilities caused criticism in the republic. As the head of Iran's Foreign Ministry explained after signing the document, if any hostilities against the republic are resumed, all contacts with the IAEA will be stopped.
On September 20, Iran's Security Council announced that cooperation between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) would be suspended due to actions by the Eurotroika countries (UK, Germany and France) to reinstate anti-Iran sanctions by the United Nations Security Council.
