Borderlands 4 is about to start Horrors of Kairos, a Halloween event that promises to make the game even more festive and spooky. PC Gamer Portal speakWhat you need to know about the event and the rewards you can earn for participating.
Event start date
The Halloween event will start on October 23 and last until November 6 to coincide with the weekly update schedule. All players will be able to participate in this event—no need to purchase anything to participate. Additionally, during the event, Kairos will sometimes experience unique weather – red-orange skies and bloody rains.
What rewards can you get?
Gearbox is promising some exciting rewards. While players will be able to obtain Legendary loot by defeating World Bosses, cosmetic items will be awarded gradually in the form of Teleport Tokens.
According to the developers, the new legends promise to be quite powerful. For example, one of them is ideal for Rafa's specialized build, as the Tedior weapon and critical hits are well suited to his skills.
Below is the full list of prizes you can receive.
- Whisper (world boss). Legendary Tedior assault rifle, guaranteed critical damage when shooting at enemies with health below 35%.
- skullcap (world boss). A legendary grenade that fires homing bullets that follow the nearest target.
- Your vote (Translation code). A decorative pumpkin can be placed on the head of any character.
- Hex appeal (Translation code). An aesthetic skin that can be applied to any weapon.
