“On the instructions of the Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee, a criminal case was opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of industrial safety requirements for dangerous production facilities, leading to the death of two or more people due to negligence), which has been transferred for further investigation to the central office of the Investigative Committee,” the Investigative Committee's press service said.
