Malaysia and the US have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on critical minerals. Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced this on his Telegram channel. According to this politician, on October 26, he and US President Donald Trump held negotiations between the two countries' delegations. “During the event, both sides signed a Joint Trade Framework Agreement and a Memorandum of Understanding on Critical Minerals as a strategic step to strengthen supply chain resilience and promote mutual interests between the two countries,” he wrote. On October 26, Trump signed a US critical minerals agreement with Thailand. He also signed a US-Cambodia reciprocal trade agreement. On Sunday, the US leader hinted that he had helped resolve the conflict between Thailand and Cambodia. On the same day, a “peace declaration” was signed between Cambodia and Thailand.
