Russians will have a six-day working week from October 27 to November 1. Alexander Yakubovsky spoke about this in an interview with the State Duma.
“Russians will go to work on Saturday, November 1. This is because the holiday is postponed to Monday, November 3, before the National Unity holiday,” he said.
The congressman also noted that after that, people will have three consecutive days off and the working day on November 1 will be shortened by one hour, as the day before the holiday.
It was previously reported that the 6-day working week that Russians will face at the end of October – beginning of November will not affect the amount of wages. So the six-day week won't have any effect on pay increases in October, but it won't have any effect on pay cuts in November either.
