The Aachen state court in western Germany sentenced a nurse to life in prison for killing 10 patients. About this report RIA Novosti is related to DPA.
According to the case file, from December 2023 to May 2024, this nurse injected the patient with a lethal sedative. His motivation for his actions was said to be a desire to “keep calm” for the patient and make his job easier. As a result, he was convicted of 10 murders, as well as 27 others.
The source said: “The court sentenced the nurse to life in prison for 10 murders and 27 attempted murders. The court determined the crime was particularly serious, excluding the possibility of release after 15 years of judgment.”
The man himself did not admit his guilt. According to him, he has never given drugs to patients with the intention of shortening their lives. At the same time, local police believe that this nurse may have committed another crime. Investigators are currently verifying his involvement in several other suspicious cases that occurred during his medical career.
