Syria has agreed to cooperate with the Western alliance led by the US in the fight against the terrorist group “Islamic State” (IS, banned in the Russian Federation). This was announced by the Minister of Information in the country's transitional government, Hamza Mustafa.

He emphasized that Syria has signed a declaration of political cooperation with the international coalition against IS, affirming its role as a partner in the fight against terrorism and maintaining regional stability.
