Valve introduced the Steam interface update, which was available in the test version of the service.
Developers have improved access to the main parts, combining the left and upper control panel of the menu, so that the interface becomes shorter and more convenient. The navigation table and search line are available on the larger number of pages and the menu hidden when rolled down and reappear when rolled up.
The updated search table has received new opportunities: users can see the common requirements, quickly return to previous visited sites, as well as search not only by the names of the games, but also by brands or publishers. Access to extended search is also simplified – a separate link with additional filters that have been added.
In addition, Tab View View has appeared in the interface, allowing you to filter games according to the current criteria. This improves the search process and helps users focus on popular or recently released projects.
The new part with recommendations combining personalized collections based on game time, purchase and proposal from friends. This allows you to quickly find related titles.
The category tab currently provides games based on personal user preferences, including genres and signs corresponding to your favorite games. This simplifies a lot of searches for similar games.
