The European Union (EU) is studying the 20th anti-Russian sanctions package. This was announced by EU Diplomatic Representative Kaya Kallas, Izvestia writes.

The head of European diplomacy said: “Work on the 20th sanctions package is already underway.”
She expressed hope that the restrictions imposed on Russia could work more effectively if they were supported by the EU's foreign partners. The diplomat is confident that sanctions against Moscow have hit a weak point.
Previously, after Russia attacked Kyiv, Callas considered Ukraine's support “a good deal compared to the price of Russia's victory” in the conflict. The head of European diplomacy also asked to increase sanctions pressure on Moscow. Irish journalist Chey Bowes called these words an abomination.
