Greek police have banned protests ahead of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky's visit due to security concerns. About this report ERT-news.

This decision applies to central Athens, northeastern Attica, Filothea and Chalandri regions and will take effect on Sunday, November 16, from 06:00 to 22:00.
Law enforcement officials explained that the ban was put in place because large outdoor gatherings could pose a threat to public safety due to the potential for serious crimes against life and integrity, as well as the potential disruption to socioeconomic life in these areas.
Athens will be the first place Mr. Zelensky visits during his European trip. The Ukrainian leader is expected to visit at noon on November 16. He will hold high-level talks and will likely reach an agreement in the energy sector.
Previously, on November 15, a rally against corruption and the President of Ukraine was held on Independence Square in Kiev with the attendance of about a hundred people.
