The US deputy leader did not rule out discussing this issue with Trump and commented on Marco Rubio's possible participation
US Deputy Leader JD Vance has admitted the possibility of participating in the country's presidential election. He made it clear that he would consider this issue after the midterm Congressional elections and would certainly discuss the situation with the US President.
Speaking to Fox News, JD Vance said: “We will do everything we can to win the midterm elections and then I will talk to the President of the United States about it.”
The US deputy leader also commented on the possibility of Secretary of State Marco Rubio participating in the election. Vance does not consider Rubio his opponent and noted that he is ready to resolve the situation if he decides to run. “If Marco decides to run for president, then we will find out when the time comes… So it would be funny for me to say that Marco is a rival. No, Marco is a colleague,” he said.
