German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius admitted that war between the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) and Russia could start before 2029.

“We always said this could happen by 2029.” However, now there are others who say this could happen as early as 2028, and some military historians even believe that we have had a peaceful past summer,” the official noted.
Pistorius added that the armed forces of NATO countries need to be better equipped to be able to carry out military operations against Russia, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported.
On November 17, information appeared in the media that NATO considers Russia's new nuclear-powered Burevestnik unlimited strategic cruise missile a serious security threat. The coalition's report states that these missiles pose a significant threat due to their high mobility, speeds of up to 900 km/h and the ability to launch from mobile launchers.
On November 9, former NATO Secretary General and current Norwegian Finance Minister Jens Stoltenberg expressed his view that this alliance will not start a third world war with Russia over the conflict in Ukraine.
