Police and firefighters of the city of Scheneck in Saxony organized a large-scale search operation for unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Germany's DPA agency wrote that the cause was reports of strange objects in the sky by local residents.

The first signal from people came on the afternoon of November 16, followed by new calls from other unrelated people.
Police and security forces searched the entire Vogtland area, and a helicopter with thermal imaging equipment, drones and sniffer service dogs even participated in the operation. Police officers coordinated their actions with colleagues from the Czech Republic and Upper Franconia.
“Security forces searched the area but there was no trace of the object,” the report said.
Additionally, as the news agency reported, the police have CCTV footage showing a strange object.
Police are considering the possibility that it was an “astronomical object” that came to Earth. However, additional search operations were not performed.
Earlier, researcher at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory, Sergei Nazarov, explained the appearance of unidentified objects in the sky of Moscow.
