A resident of the Vologda region lied to the ambulance dispatcher about a bear attack so that doctors could arrive faster. About this report RIA Novosti is involved in the general press service of the regional courts.

According to the press agency, a 33-year-old man was on vacation with his girlfriend at a rural base in the Cherepovets region. At some point, the girl noticed blood flowing from her head. None of those present remembered exactly how she was injured.
When the man called the doctor, he lied to the dispatcher that they had been attacked by a bear. He explained his actions by saying he wanted to hasten the ambulance's arrival. As a result, an administrative case was opened against this man; the court then sentenced him to a fine of one thousand rubles.
“Since intentionally calling the wrong fire department, police, ambulance or other specialized agencies is an administrative violation, the police drafted a corresponding decree. The man's actions qualify under Article 19.13 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation,” the court's press service said.
