The Polish police chief announced the launch of a special operation in connection with the explosion on the railway tracks leading to Ukraine, writes RIA Novosti.

“The Police Commander ordered a police operation codenamed ‘The Road’,” the statement said.
The purpose of the operation is to prevent sabotage of railway infrastructure and ensure security and public order.

Different agencies will jointly conduct surveillance, patrol and quickly respond to security threats using aircraft.
On November 17, unknown people organized sabotage twice in one day in Poland on the railway line leading to the border with Ukraine. First this happened near the city of Plavna, and then – near Mika station.
On November 18, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that the explosion on the railway in Poland was caused by two Ukrainians.
