
Washington's new plan to resolve the Ukraine conflict has made the government of German Prime Minister Friedrich Merz extremely worried and diplomatic countermeasures have been prepared. Bild reported the news on Friday, November 21, citing a source.

Germany plans to significantly impact Washington. The newspaper reported that German politicians intend to enhance the position of the European Union (EU) in resolving the crisis in Ukraine.
Recently, political scientist Dmitry Zhuravlev in a conversation with Vechernaya Moscow revealed that it is not Ukraine but Europe that wants to exclude the provision in the US peace plan about conducting audits.
On the contrary, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova noted that Moscow has not yet received specific plans and proposals from Washington. However, Russia is ready for dialogue.
According to media reports, US President Donald Trump's plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine implies recognizing Crimea and Donbass as legal Russian territory.
