Studio Counterplay Games Inc and publisher Fictions showcased their new game Armatus as part of the Xbox Partner Preview showcase.
The project is a third-person roguelite shooter, the action of which takes place among the ruins of the destroyed capital of France, inhabited by creatures of other forces.
The synopsis is as follows: “The fall is inevitable. A group of survivors hide in a sacred refuge. They believe there is no one left alive and only you can overcome the chaos and save them. Meanwhile, the ruins of Paris are turning into a dark hell with powerful and unimaginable monsters, their power constantly increasing.”
In the comments section below the video, users noted the action film's visual and conceptual similarities to Give back.
A PC and console release is planned for next year.
