According to him, in the northern regions of the Urals, as well as in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Region, temperatures can drop to almost -40 °C. Real frost will cover northern Siberia, where thermometers will remain 6–8 degrees below normal, down to –35–38 °C.
In northeastern Yakutia, temperatures in the coming days could drop to -43–47 °C, 7–13 degrees colder than normal for this period.
The expert added that the cold winter in Moscow will not have snow at least until the end of November. According to him, the capital is expected to be snow-free next week.
