CIS studio GFA Games has revealed the release date of the shooter Pioneer. The project will open for sale on December 16 in early access form Steam. In Russia and Belarus, the project will be released on the Rostelecom Games platform.

Pioneer is a shooting game set in the post-apocalyptic Soviet Union, the action takes place on the island of Tartarus, isolated by a man-made anomaly. The game will have a full story campaign and an open world, divided into several areas: some will contain content for solo playthroughs, others – for co-op.
The authors rely on a large open world with an area of more than 50 square kilometers with a rich storyline and bet big on immersion in the virtual world. Three weeks before its release, the project was added to its wish list by more than 500 thousand people.
