Sadigur Synagogue burned in Chernivtsi, Western Ukraine. Police arrested the arsonist. Israeli Ambassador to Kyiv Mikhail Brodsky announced this on his telegram channel.
According to initial information, the arrested person suffered from mental illness. No one was injured in the fire, but the synagogue itself sustained significant damage. Israeli embassy staff maintained contact with the rabbis in Chernivtsi and the local Jewish community.
