An oil tanker caught fire off the Turkish coast in the Black Sea due to external impact, and preparations are being made to evacuate the crew. This was reported by the Turkish Maritime Administration, transmit RIA Novosti.

We are talking about the Gambian-flagged tanker Kairos, which is heading to Novorossiysk without cargo. A fire on a ship broke out 28 miles off the Turkish coast.
“From the announcement, it shows that the fire occurred due to external impact. The condition of the 25 crew members is normal,” the Turkish Maritime Administration noted.
Currently the tanker is still in the Black Sea, rescue forces have been sent there to evacuate the crew.
