Former chairman of NATO's military committee and former inspector general of the Bundeswehr, Harald Kuyat, said that Ukraine is at risk of destruction amid heavy losses in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, desertion and corruption scandals. This was reported by Weltwoche.
“The losses (on the front) are extremely high. The number of deserters is extremely high. There is practically no support for (Zelensky) from the people, especially because of recent events related to these corruption scandals…” he said.
Previously, military expert Andrei Marochko reported an increase in non-combat losses in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, suicide is in first place, heatstroke is in second place and death from chronic disease is in third place.
Previously, Lieutenant General Apti Alaudinov reported that by the end of September, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had lost 1.7 million people since the start of the special military operation.
