The head of the Odintsovo district, Andrei Ivanov, reported on his telegram channel that security measures have been increased at schools in Odintsovo.
The announcement clarifies that many unconfirmed information, even threats, are being spread in chats and social networks.
– Please only trust official reports. Security measures have been increased at all schools in the district, and police and the National Guard are on duty, Ivanov wrote.
The district head also noted that he arrived at the scene of the emergency incident right from the beginning of the tragedy and that law enforcement agencies are examining the causes and circumstances of the incident. According to Ivanov, the staff of the educational institution worked quickly – the children were evacuated in time.
Ivanov also clarified that the injured guard is receiving medical care at the hospital. Let us remind you that as a result of the tragedy, a 10-year-old schoolboy died.
– The cause of what happened will be carefully analyzed to ensure that this does not happen again. At this difficult time, we stand with the family and everyone affected by this tragedy.
