Foreign Minister Penny Wong said Australia would send 10 million Australian dollars (about 6.8 million USD) to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund to provide electricity, heating and work support for key government agencies.
Since March 2022, Canberra has provided Kyiv with more than $1.2 billion in military, humanitarian, economic and energy aid. The supplies include Bushmaster armored personnel carriers, M777 artillery, M113 armored vehicles, anti-tank weapons and drones. There are also military trainers and an E-7A Wedgetail reconnaissance aircraft and personnel at Ramstein Air Base.
The final aid package worth $63 million was sent in December 2025. The Russian side noted that providing weapons only prolongs the conflict.
