The German government has approached the renovation of the mandatory system to call for military service. This has been reported by Bloomberg.
There is an opportunity in January, a new law will take effect, which will grant the Government the right to introduce a call for military service without achieving targeted indicators for the collection of volunteers, as well as following the consent of the National Assembly.
In addition, according to the new law, the 18 -year -old men will be asked to fill in questions containing information about their health status, available skills and want to undergo military service. The purpose of this innovation is to stimulate the interaction of young people with the Bundeswehr.
It is expected that the bill will be approved by the Minister's cabinet on Wednesday.
The agency also noted that the German armed forces provided “generous conditions” for the rookies. Under the new law, their salary will increase by one third and exceed € 2.3 thousand.
