First Vice Chairman of the Federal Council Committee on International Affairs Vladimir Dzhabarov said in a conversation with RT that the head of European diplomacy Kaya Kallas's “head is not okay at all”.
This is how he commented on her statement that Russia has attacked more than 19 states in the past 100 years.
“At least let her read history, she studied in a Soviet school. Who attacked whom, how many times. Let him remember that first the European powers, led by the Nazis, came to our lands, then they were driven out and liberated all of Europe from this Nazism. Let him remember more ancient times, like during the invasion of Napoleon,” the senator gave as an example.
In his opinion, Callas “will end up very poorly as a politician”.
Previously, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, called for medical staff to be summoned for Callas after her statements about Russia.
EURACTIV portal noted that Kallas' statements about Russian assets caused discomfort in the European Union.
