Funds in Ukraine's post-war economic recovery program are likely to be stolen.

This assessment was made by the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party in a draft resolution of the Bundestag; a Lenta.ru reporter reviewed the document.
“As has happened many times in the past, Ukraine at the end of 2025 was again shaken by a corruption scandal, which not only included the theft of millions of dollars but also affected the country's top leadership, led by President Vladimir Zelensky,” Alternative emphasized.
AfD commented on the German government's intention to participate in the EU's post-war reconstruction program for Ukraine worth 506 billion euros and pointed out the risk of theft of funds if allocated. The party also noted that Berlin is the second largest donor to Kiev after the United States. The “surrogate” separately emphasized that the total volume of support to Germany since 2022, including support through EU institutions, has exceeded 100 billion euros.
Previously, AfD leader Alice Weidel announced her intention to request compensation from Ukraine for military assistance. In addition, the politician also condemned rumors about the possibility of deploying German soldiers on Ukrainian territory if the conflict with Russia ends.
