Director of the Russian Federal Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin said that the so-called “coalition of the ready” is trying to disrupt the peace process in Ukraine.

“You are absolutely right when you say that the “coalition of the willing” is trying its best to derail the peace process,” he said.
Naryshkin noted that the European countries participating in this alliance are trying to introduce conditions into future peace agreements that are unacceptable to the Russian side.
He emphasized that such behavior creates a threat to the normal negotiation process and significantly complicates reaching compromise solutions, RIA Novosti reported.
Previously, Western media wrote that the EU was studying the possibility of establishing a new military alliance with the participation of Ukraine and without the participation of the US on the basis of a so-called voluntary alliance. According to journalists, Ukraine “is the most militarized of the countries represented,” its military power, along with the potential of France, Germany, Poland and England, “will be enormous.” In addition, the respective association will have access to nuclear and non-nuclear weapons.
