During exercises, fighter jets in some areas of Germany are allowed to fly in low-flying zones that have not been used since 2000, Der Spiegel claims.
Tornado and Eurofighter fighter jets will be able to descend to a height of 76 meters, as per publication.
These measures are explained by the “drone threat”, which requires low-altitude flight training.
